Priorities

My poor, neglected blog. As Gandhi once said, “Action expresses priorities.” This is truth, friends.

However, I’m not too sad about my priorities these days. After my faith, my first is to my family (my husband and now 6-month-old son, and everyone else in rank and file from there). I can truthfully report that this is what I spend most of my time on these days, quite happily I might add.

Next is my paid writing. Yes, I do enjoy that as well. Writing travel blogs for some of VRM‘s real-estate clients is a consistent, weekly staple of my existence that I look forward to and keeps me connected to the career world. It’s a connection I value and is time well spent. It also keeps me learning, which is good.

After that, add in all of life’s other necessary endeavors, some which are more exciting than others. Hmm, let’s see there’s cooking, cleaning, friends, story time at the library, reading, researching anything and everything, Downton Abbey, Sherlock and Facebook… just to name a few and in no particular order.

Please note that my personal blog is not on that list of priorities, but it needs to be. I’m working on that. I really, really am.

But for now, there’s a crying baby who needs me. Nap time is over. (It’s the quickest hour one will ever experience. Seriously.) He’s a demanding little creature at times, but I love him with every fiber of my being.

Oh, I’ve also been traveling again. So I guess I should write more about that, too. Maybe next nap time.

Gotta go. More later!
